Model Prompt

Definition

A Model Prompt involves showing or demonstrating the desired response to the learner, giving them an example to imitate. This type of prompt helps the learner understand what is expected by observing the correct behavior being performed.

Example

During a lesson on brushing teeth, the teacher demonstrates brushing their own teeth while the learner watches. The learner then mimics the teacher’s actions to brush their own teeth. The teacher’s demonstration serves as a model prompt to guide the learner toward the correct behavior.
