Reliability

Reliability refers to the consistency and dependability of a measurement. A reliable measurement yields the same results under consistent conditions, meaning that if the same behavior is measured multiple times, the results will be similar each time.

Example

If two different observers record the number of times a student raises their hand during class, and both observers consistently record the same number of hand raises, the measurement is considered reliable. Consistent results across multiple observers or trials demonstrate high reliability in data collection.
